About RRB NTPC Exam

RRB, Railway Recruitment Board was established in 1998 as a government recruitment company. RRB Recruits the Group C & D jobs every year for non-gazetted Engineering and  Civil Service posts in the Government of India and Indian Railways. Railway Recruitment Boards handle 21 railway boards and hire for Indian Railways.

Railway Recruitment Board conducts the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam to recruit  Goods guards, Commercial apprentices, Traffic assistants, Traffic Apprentice, Assistant Station Master, etc. all over India.

Railway Recruitment Board has set different eligibility criteria to hire Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Posts which are listed below.

Indian

Subject of Nepal or Bhutan

Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement

Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Migrated from

  • Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire,Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi

RRB NTPC Exam Stage – III

Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)

  • The CBAT Test is considered as the qualifying test & the qualifying marks are 42 marks and is conducted in English and Telugu Language.
  • There is No Negative marking in CBAT.
  • 70% Weightage is given for the 1st and 2nd stage and 30% Weightage for the marks in CBAT.

Typing Test
The Typing Test is qualifying to cut out and filter the number of candidates. Eight times the number of people compared to the number of vacancies will be called for a typing test. The candidate needs to type 30 words per minute. 25 wpm in Hindi and  30 wpm in English.

RRB NTPC Exam Stage – IV

Based on the marks obtained in Stage I, Stage II, and Stage III candidates are called for the Interview process, and based on their performance the jobs are offered.
