About IBPS RRB Exam

Institute of  Banking Personnel Selection  Regional Rural Banks Exam is a National Level Exam to hire aspirants for the various officer scale posts. Regional Rural Banks are situated across the country. RRBs are owned by the Government and are scheduled commercial banks of India operated at the regional level in various states of India. These banks are owned by the Ministry of Finance, and the Government of India.  These are situated in urban and rural areas of India.

Rural Banks are owned by the Equity under the control of stakeholders with the proportion of Central Government 50%, Sponsor Bank 35%, and State Government 15%.

IBPS has released a notification to hire 8285 vacancies on  45 rural banks.

  • Graduation/Bachelors Degree

  • Computer Literacy: Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / IT as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

  • Proficiency in the Official Language of that State/UT

  • Indian Citizen

  • Citizen Subjected to Nepal or Bhutan

  • Tibetan refugee who has moved to India before 1 January 1962

  • Person of Indian Origin

  • SC/ST - 5 years

  • OBC Non-Creamy Layer- 3 years

  • Ex-Servicemen (Army) - 5 years
