Syllabus & Exam Pattern
The SBI Clerk syllabus will differ based on the level of examination. Each level has its own exam pattern and qualifying rules. These levels are:
Prelims
The SBI Clerk 2022 preliminary exam will be conducted online and consists of objective questions for a total of 100 marks. The test will consists of 3 sections, and you will have one hour to attempt them. The sections, along with their weightage, are as follows:
- English language – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
- Quantitative aptitude – 35 Questions – 35 Marks
- Reasoning ability – 35 Questions – 35 Marks
You must qualify separately in all three sections to be eligible for the SBI Clerk 2022 main examination. Usually, the candidates shortlisted for the main examination are approximately 20 times more than the number of vacancies available.
Mains
On qualifying, you are eligible to appear for the SBI Clerk 2022 Mains examination. It will constitute a total of 200 marks with a time duration of 2 hours and 40 minutes. The mode of the examination will be online. The structure of this test is as follows:
- General/Financial Awareness – 50 marks – 35 minutes
- General English – 40 marks – 35 minutes
- Quantitative aptitude – 50 marks – 45 minutes
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude – 60 marks – 45 minutes
If you qualify in the SBI Clerk 2022 Main examination, the selection committee places you among a list of qualifying candidates in descending order of the marks. Furthermore, obtaining a high rank on the merit list will make you eligible for a personal interview.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the SBI Clerk 2022 examination, you must eligible as following:
- Must be an Indian citizen
- Graduate from a recognised university or equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
- Matriculate Ex-servicemen with Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificates from the Indian Navy or Air Force are also eligible.
- Should be 20 or above in age but less than 28 as of April 1, 2022, except in age relaxation cases for certain groups
Results & Cut-Off
The SBI clerk results will consider your performance in prelims, mains, and the interview. You must score a minimum percentage of marks that the bank decides, which changes every year.
The cut-off changes every year, depending on the performance of the candidates for that year.
