NHPC Limited 2022 Junior Engineer Recruitment: The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineers from various disciplines. This application is active since the 31st of January 2022. The last date for submitting online applications is 21st February 2022.

The recruitment is open for candidates from the Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering branches. A total of 133 posts are available with segregation between the three branches. NHPC is the biggest hydropower Indian company and has commissioned several energy-generation projects to date.

A fee of ₹250/- is applicable to General, General-EWS, and OBC candidates. SC, ST, Ex-serviceman, and PwBD categories do not need to pay the registration fee. Registration fee needs to be paid online through debit, credit card, or internet banking. Total fee is ₹295/- (including 18% GST).

The NHPC JE 2022 pay scale for all three posts lies in the range of ₹ 29,600 to ₹ 1,19,500 (IDA). Also, there are four posts reserved for the ‘Persons with Benchmark Disability’ (PWBD) category.

Educational Qualifications Requirements

The educational qualification required for all three posts is same. A full-time diploma in the mentioned field with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university is mandatory.

Besides, B.E./B.Tech holders without a full-time regular diploma are not allowed to appear for NHPC JE 2022 recruitment. Hence, a full-time regular diploma is an essential qualification for this process.

Basis Of Selection for NHPC Junior Engineer Posts

NHPC will evaluate all registered candidates. The eligible candidates will be permitted to appear for a computer-based online test.

Final candidates are selected based on the merit list after online test results. The meritorious candidates will receive an ‘offer of appointment’ from NHPC.

NHPC JE 2022 Recruitment Test Centers

The online application form contains three options to select preferred test centers. Notably, the online test for recruitment will take place in 22 Indian cities. The test centers are present in prominent cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Chennai.

The computer-based online recruitment test has an MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) structure.

The syllabus for respective streams covers 70% weightage for the concerned discipline. An additional 15% weightage is for General Awareness, and the remaining 15% is allotted for Reasoning.
