NIMCET Exam Eligibility

→ Candidates with a three-year B.Sc/B.Sc(Hons)/BBA/BCA/BIT/Bachelor of Vocational degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, or Software Development, including Mathematics or Statistics as a subject, and those who have completed a BE/BTech degree are also eligible to apply.

→ Applicants must have a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5/10 in their degree program. SC/ST/PWD candidates must have 55 percent marks or a CGPA of 6.0.

→ Final-year students of the mentioned courses can apply; however, they must obtain their degree certificates before September of the corresponding year to be eligible.

NIMCET Exam Pattern 

The NIMCET Exam Pattern will likely consist of:

  • There will be 120 Questions from Mathematics, Analytical Ability, Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and General English for 480 marks for the time duration of 2 hours. 
  • There will be a Negative MarkingL 1 Mark will be deducted for Wrong Answer

NIMCET Exam Mode

NIMCET is typically conducted in an offline (pen-and-paper) mode.

NIMCET Exam Application Fee

The application fee for the NIMCET Exam varies for different categories. In 2023, it was INR 2500 for OPEN/OBC candidates and INR 1250 for SC/ST candidates.

NIMCET Exam Marking Scheme
