The SSC (Staff Selection Commission) CGL (Combined Graduate Level) is considered to be one of the significant examinations for graduate students in India. It is an annual examination conducted by the Public Service Commission to recruit staff for various posts in over diverse Ministries and Departments of Government of India, and its Subordinate Offices. On 23rd December 2021, Examination schedules for 2021-2022 were released by the Staff Selection Commission.

SSC CGL 2022 - How to apply for the exam
Interested candidates can apply online. The application process started on 23rd December 2021 and continued till 23rd January 2022. You can register for the exam through their official website or can refer to the link given below:

Application Fee
- The application fee is Rs.100/-. Women, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from fee.
- Fees must be paid only through SBI by challan or by SBI Net Banking or a Credit/Debit card.
- Candidates who wish to pay by cash should take a copy of the online challan generated after completing the part-1 registration at any SBI branch. Then they can proceed to part-2 registration.
- Candidates who wish to pay online can proceed directly to part-2 registration after completing part-1 registration.
- Also, note that candidates require registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration.

Selection Process
SSC CGL 2022 Examination will be conducted in four tiers:
Tier-I: Computer Based Examination
Tier-II: Computer Based Examination
Tier-III: Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)
Tier-IV: Computer Proficiency Test/ Data Entry Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification
- After successfully applying for SSC CGL 2022 exam, all candidates will be assigned a Roll number and Admit Card for the Computer Based Examination (Tier-I).
- Applicants will be shortlisted, Category-wise, based on their marks in Tier-I, to appear for Tier-II and Tier-III.
- There will be separate cut-offs for Paper-III, and Paper-IV of Tier-II, and Paper-I , and Paper-II of Tier-II.
- All candidates qualified in Tier-I will take the Tier-II and Tier-III examinations.
- Candidates shortlisted for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer are required to appear for Paper-III and Paper-IV respectively.
- Minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I, and each Paper of Tier-II and Tier-III are:
- UR: 30%
- OBC/ EWS: 25%
- Others: 20%
