Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for the SSC CPO 2022 examination, candidates must fulfill some basic requirements.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree from a recognized Institute/University with 50% Marks.

Documents Required

  • First of all, you must be an Indian national.
  • You should also be a graduate or final year of graduation (in 2022) from a recognized university.
  • To apply for the post of SI in Delhi Police, you must hold a valid driving license for LMV (car and motorcycle).
  • For other posts under CAPF, a driving license is not required.
  • You must submit your driving license during the Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. But you do not need to possess it while filling out the application form.

Age limit

Candidates must also pay attention to the upper age limit and must be within that limit in order to qualify for the SSC CPO 2022 exam. Usually, as seen in the previous years, the age limit for general candidates is as follows:

  • Not younger than 20 years
  • Not older than 25 years

Note: Candidates belonging to special categories will be provided age relaxation.

  • For SC/ST candidates, there is a 5-year age relaxation on the upper age limit.
  • For OBC candidates, the age relaxation is 3 years.

SSC CPO Exam Details: How to Apply for SSC CPO 2022

  • SSC CPO Tier-I
  • SSC CPO Tier-II

Male candidates:

  • 100-metre race in 16 seconds
  • 1.6-km race in 6.5 minutes

Female candidates:

  • 100-metre race in 18 seconds
  • 800-metre race in four minutes
