Understand the Syllabus

It's important to know the exam syllabus in detail to prepare for the exam. So, keep a copy of the syllabus handy whenever you're studying so you can focus on specific sections and the questions. You need to keep the weightage of the individual sections in mind to ace the exam. Understanding the syllabus will allow you to focus on sections you're confident about.

Focus on Time Management

You can keep a stopwatch or a traditional alarm clock while giving mock tests and solving question papers. It will help you manage your time better and understand which sections need more time to complete.

As you set a time limit for solving papers, you can focus better while studying without distractions.

Study From a Variety of Sources

You don't need to stick to specific educational resources while preparing for the test. Check out online resources besides the recommended reference books and previous years' question papers. Pdfs, e-books, free mock tests, and YouTube videos can help you expand your knowledge base. You'll also get more clarity on complex concepts.
