UPSC CSE Exam 2023 Important Points
- UPSC CSE 2023 Prelims Exam Paper consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with Negative Marking i.e, one-third (0.33).
- A minimum score of 33% is required for the GS Paper II (CSAT) which is Qualifying in nature.
- Candidates must score at least 25% marks on each paper in the CSE main examination, including Indian Language and English.
- All papers will take three hours to complete.
- Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Arunachal Pradesh candidates do not have to take the Indian Language paper.
- An essay, a general studies paper, or an optional paper can be counted for merit only.
